Jasmine, Owner & TRAINER
Jas is the Head Trainer at DogsWithJas. Over the past seven years, she has served thousands of clients both in-person as well as through her social media growth. Jas’ interest in dog training was sparked when her parents volunteered as guide dog puppy raisers, and in 2020 Jas’ dog training business officially opened.
Prior to the launch of her business, Jas spent hands-on time learning from trainers who specialize in a wide variety of dog training niches, such as pet training, shelter dog rehabilitation, behavioral modification, guide and service dog training, sport dog training and police-k9s. Jas still expands her knowledge by attending training seminars and studying the book science of psychology and development.
After seven years of serving the San Francisco Bay Area, where Jas grew up, Jas has relocated to New York City and is so excited to begin working with all the wonderful dogs.
When Jas isn’t training dogs, she loves going on hikes, going to the beach, reading, photography, trying new restaurants and coffee shops, and traveling.
FINLEY, Dog/assistant
Finley is a seven-year-old golden retriever who has been an integral part
of Jas’ career as a dog trainer. He has helped hundreds of clients reach their training goals through socialization, exposure, and demonstrations. He has attended a dozen training seminars, helped raise multiple puppies, and none of Jas’ skills as a trainer would be where they are today without him.
If you are an in-person client of Jas’, you will meet Finley soon if you haven’t yet! And if you are a loyal Instagram follower or virtual client, you probably already know how special he is!
When Finley is not assisting in training sessions he likes going to the beach, going on hikes, eating dinner, and rolling around in grass.
